Free Internet? Soon Everywhere, but Starbucks.

Posted on January 15, 2010. Filed under: Technology |

Finally, as I’ve be saying for years now (2 are years), Hotels are catching on and even McDonald’s will soon offer free internet.

Starbucks?  Still up to its internet shenanigans. Starbucks, with it’s tech savvy street cred charges $3.99 for two hours, but with the rewards program you get two hours free.  Joy.  Is it me or does Starbucks charging for internet seem completely contrary to its brand image?  I think you’re more likely to see free internet at Chuck E Cheese’s before Starbucks.  Such a wasted opportunity.
